Celtic TR-4
if you get stuck, this walkthrough will help you with the level
Celtic
3 wall levers, one of which was not yet visible because it was behind a sliding wooden crate. She lit a flare and found the position of the bayonets located on the floor as well as the still closed hatch. Meanwhile, a couple of birds of prey appeared at the portal, which she disposed of. She pulled the lever on the left. If she watched the next clip to the end, she found that some underwater bars had opened, and that again 13 seconds they close. She pulled the left stick again (now without the clip) and there followed 13 seconds of unerringly executed movements: Jumping backwards, flipping over the daggers with a 180° turn and sprinting to the pond, which she finished just before the pond so to fall freely and accurately directly into the wooden shaft. She swam now: straight - left - right - left - right. There she swam through the door that was just closing and pulled the lever on the wall. The clip hinted that there would have to be more such levers, for the hatch in the fortress portal to open. She went back up again. She moved the crate in front of the left lever, releasing it both remaining levers. She understood, or by testing, found out that the mechanism is set similarly to the first door (lever), i.e. for time. Compared to the left lever, it was a bit more complicated in this case: so that it could reach the underwater in the water lever, it was necessary to use both other levers to simultaneously open both other underwater gratings that are in the way, again very precisely, cleanly, and above all quickly. She solved it as follows (the box is moved away, she now saw the middle and right levers): She pulled the right lever, she jumped back (there were no bayonets in the floor at this point), then jumped to the middle lever and pulled behind her. She jumped a step back again, followed by a back somersault with a 180° turn and a short sprint just before the pond and falling into a wooden shaft. Then she swam under the water: right, right, left, left (now she swam through one, just opened door), then the first left and right, right (there was another door that she now opened with a lever from the mountain). Behind them the lever she pulled. In the clip, the hatch had now opened and the entrance to the fortress was free. On the way up, she still managed to pick up flares and successfully she avoided the snake because it could not be disposed of in water. She descended further through the open hatch into the underground passage of the fortress. She crawled on her knees into the hallway with the wooden floor. She hadn't noticed the swinging chains yet. Right by the place she climbed out of, she jumped into the water. She swam further down the flooded corridor to a larger water room. There she took the golden key from the pedestal. If she returned now, she would find that she would not be able to drag herself into the room with the chains. And so through the door that just opened, she swam (as if directly) straight to places where she already knew and where she collected fireflies. From there again through a wooden shaft to the surface and back to the fortress through the open hatch. She crawled on her knees into the room with the chain. First she picked up a shotgun incl. patron. She carefully made her way between the swinging chains to the locked door. She saw a lock to them, but there was a fire under it, which she needed to extinguish first. She therefore jumped into the alcove on the right, ran down the corridor. She shot several small scorpions. She took a good look at the floor again to see where she could move without fear of health from piercing the floor spikes. She noticed a door to the left above the ladder. If she went immediately into the corridor to the right, she would die because of the bayonet trap. That's why she went straight to the room with the wooden crates. In this room, go left and right. She pushed the crate in front of her forward twice. She circled her 90° to the right and pulled her away from the wall - three times. She turned it 90° again, this time to the left. Now she had free access to the switch that was behind the crate in its original position, pressing it opened the door above the ladder in the previous room. If she wanted a small pharmacy (secret 1), she still had to move another crate in the reddish part of the room (first once along the wall and then once away from the wall) and crawl up to the knees into the low alcove. She went back to the previous room. She climbed the ladder to the top where the door was originally closed. She turned and waved across the room where she ducked down. She walked down the hall into the next room. A fire was burning in vessels on a large pedestal in the middle. Lara climbed the ladder almost to the top. She rebounded with a 180° turn and caught on the edge of the pedestal. When she pulled on him, the fire went out. She correctly assumed that the fire also went out under the lock in the corridor with the chain. So she unlocked this door and continued down the new corridor. She passed a lantern in the corner on her left, and a large hall with double partitions and a total of six side entrances awaited her on the right. She broke both containers before jumping down, leaving one of them with a large apothecary. She could see a tall door across the hall from the room. These were opened by switching two switches; one was in the left side entrance closest to where Lara came from, and the other in the right side entrance. During the whole movement she tried to avoid the two mummies if she "managed" to wake up he is from sleep. They could not be killed without an explosive weapon. She now continued through these switches open doors. She found herself in a tight and a dark hall with wide and tall columns. Dead bodies of Mummies lay on the floor. When she broke open the chests on the sides, she found that they contain nothing. At the end of the narrow hall on the left, she jumped through a small slanted ledge into a low alcove, where she took the cartridges to uzi (secret 2). Again she tried to avoid the mummies as much as possible and took the only possible way forward - down (she hung by her hands and lowered herself carefully). She jumped onto the stone block and continued up again, through the passage directly into the room, from which she heard and then saw a pair of circular chopping mechanisms. You jumped either sideways or with an arrow so that she didn't suffer a single scratch. Behind them she collected things (important for other quests), especially a crossbow and 2 quivers of ordinary arrows. Now she pressed the switch and opened the door to the temple through which another video clip was played. She ran to the front wall of the temple, to her right where there was an ever decreasing corridor. She crawled through it on her knees almost to the end, where she stood, she jumped up, caught and pulled into a small room. Here she found an important object in the next event - a laser sight. She combined it with a crossbow. She found such a place from which she could shoot 4 containers on the front side of the temple with the help of a crossbow with a sight. After they were shot, a metal grate in the same wall opened. This is where Lara went. In this corridor (at the end of it) then she found the first golden key. With that, she unlocked the door that was opposite the entrance she came from. In the temple she was still finding two more doors that she hadn't noticed yet. Through the unlocked door, she continued down the new corridor. The first turn to the left - here was a slightly sloping ramp. Here, Lara provoked the activation of two clay balls (and always dodged them in time), when she found she couldn't go on due to the ramp being too steep. She returned to the corridor she had come from. She noticed a pool, but she continued straight down the hall and jumped down. She now found herself in a system of corridors, somewhere flooded. After a while they started pouncing on her two dogs and a snake too; she eliminated them all. If she took the first turn left (after falling), she would reach a small room with the mummy (she would go around here) and crawl up to her knees into the low space. Here she could take explosive arrows into her crossbow. She tried them but sparing if possible, but she could now at least kill intrusive mummies with one blow. As she explored all the rooms and halls of these "catacombs" and collected all the things useful for health and shooting, went to a large, gradually sloping room with gold and silver stairs. Behind the pillar, at the very top, in this room was a locked door. At its end above through the lower spaces by the square column, from where the fire could be seen, she jumped to the right - into a cluttered, white stone room with asymmetrical portico. She explored it and after blasting several vases she was able to find two quivers with ordinary crossbow arrows and one flare. In the place from where she came into the room, she saw a block of stone. She jumped on top of him and pressed the switch. That's what you are she unlocked the door in the previous room but had no way to get to it yet. She returned the same way back to the catacombs. Ahead of her now she saw a low, leveling, two-sided staircase. She climbed onto the platform and turned left. She was now in the room whose ceiling had a hole in it. She jumped to its edge and pulled herself up into the wooden upper corridor. She went on and skipped another hole in the floor (a bayonet trap would kill her if she fell through). She took the next turn to the right and went down the mine ladder. She blew up both crates and especially the vase behind which was the wall lever she pulled. She saw through the switched camera the opening door. Since they closed again after a certain time, she did not delay and climbed the ladder as quickly as possible. She jumped into the familiar wooden corridor and seemed to continue on. She ran left, left again (sprinted) and at the end of this wooden corridor fell into a flooded corridor. She turned 180° in the water and swam to the left. There she sprinted to the newly opened door so that she stops in time in front of the hole in the floor (so that the ball does not fall on her). She collected all the ammo here, or she immediately eliminated the jumping skeleton with a shotgun or an explosive arrow. She then jumped to the rectangular one column on the left. On the right side, she noticed a lock for a red gem, which she didn't have yet, so she memorized this place. She continued by jumping to the crack in the opposite wall, where she hung up and swung to the right at the end of the crack. There she pulled herself out (here she already fit into the slot). She somersaulted backwards, with a 180° turn, and hung onto the slanted pole. On that one then she pulled out and watched the columns of jumping skeletons, which if she had the chance to use her laser sight and liquidated explosive arrows. She needed to get to the hard-to-see sloped platform in such a way that she could catch herself after the slide. (she did this by jumping on it from behind). Now she pulled herself up on top of it and immediately jumped backwards with a 180° flip and she immediately caught herself on another pillar, where she also pulled herself up. Then she further jumped to the nearest post by the wall (the door was locked on it). From there, run up to another new pillar (there were the remains of Lara's predecessor on it and mainly bayonets, so she didn't climb this pillar). So she circled the column to its other side, where she lowered herself (already safely). The only other possible way was to jump onto the pole at the corner of the room, from which she continued into the corridor, opening into the familiar sloping room (she ran through the door she had been opening here recently). She then jumped onto the pillar directly opposite. Up the ladder in the ceiling penetration she reached a square outdoor room on the roof. She killed both dogs and collected the red gem. She then returned by a familiar route back to the catacombs. After a while she found a tall sliding door in their corner, she inserted this red gem into its lock. She picked up the uzi weapon and if she continued down the short corridor she noticed a pole that she couldn't climb yet because she couldn't reach it. So she ran down the wide staircase to the four closed "cages". If she turned left now, she got into the space with sliding crates, but there was a small fire burning near them, so she couldn't do anything here yet. That's why she took to transport, to the big waterway a tank with several snakes swimming in it that she could kill. She jumped into the tank and pulled a lever that deactivated the fire near the crates. Even before she decided to solve these crates, she looked around with the binoculars and found that there was a a narrow crevice through which a ceramic vessel can be seen. With the help of a crossbow with a sight, she shot it, which opened the bars to the left of the crates, where she went to collect the assigned items (secret 3). Now she could calmly solve the puzzle with the crates (diagram of crates - solution - see picture). After pushing all the crates away correctly, she reached the button she pressed. In doing so she opened all 4 bars with snakes, but above all, a block of trellis protruded from the floor where she could not reach the pole. She also got married there now. After the pole she climbed up, jumped into the corridor and climbed down the ladder. Carefully, so as to avoid several from above she made her way up the slope with a rolling ball. She walked between two pillars and up some stairs to pick up a purple gem. She continued very carefully down the corridor to the left, again paying close attention to possible falling balls. After skipping holes in the floor, Lara finds herself in a corridor she knows well, it's a corridor leading from the temple. He descends again into the catacombs. He is looking for a place to use the gem and that place is in the familiar white room with the skeletons. Again she reached the lever through the upper wooden passage, where she shot down a pillar, and once again ran for a while through the upper wooden passage to the sinkhole in the flooded passage. The same way through the open timed door she ran further to the places where she stopped in time to avoid the ball falling on her. She jumped again into the white room, where she then jumped directly onto the opposite latticed balcony. Here she used a purple gem. In the clip, she saw the door opening, which she had reached just as recently. She was now in a black stairwell, with the lower part flooded. She disposed of several water snakes and jumped into the water where she pulled a lever. You opened the gate with that, which was located in the corridor roughly in the middle of the staircase. So she ran up the stairs to this corridor, through the corridor she reached room with a decorative column and a pool around it. She walked around the pillar until she saw the switch. If she pressed it, she saw the hatch in animation, which opened somewhere outside. To get to this hatch, she jumped from the switch into the water and through a single underwater opening she swam to the larger flooded corridor room. She worked her way to the right, where she avoided two snakes. She then sailed through the single opening into the corridor, from which she reached a higher flooded room. She had seen it here a while ago open hatch. This brought her to an open grassy area. She possibly killed some birds and ran back along the fort, on a stone block. There she picked up another golden key. Now she was returning exactly the same way to the familiar black staircase. The only possible way - up - she ran up the stairs to the landing with the locked door. She unlocked it with the golden key she picked up outside, and she jumped down the corridor to the temple she had already seen from below. If she jumped right now in the temple, in the next corridor she would come across a locked door. That's why she jumped over the chandeliers to the opposite (front) wall of the temple, along the way she could shoot down intrusive skeletons. In the cell, she pressed the button that unlocked the door in the opposite corridor. She skipped back to this corridor, passed through an unlocked door, then stopped in front of a deep shaft. she turned and carefully climbed the ladder almost to the end of the shaft. She didn't go down, but jumped back into the room with the lever. By pulling this lever, she opened the door on the ground floor of the temple that she could see earlier. She then jumped out of the room to pool and headed to the temple. She walked around the benches and saw an open door behind them. She entered the room with a copper vase and a sliding wooden crate. She moved it to the middle, to the marked floor. With that, she opened the last door - in the corridor under the pulpit. It ended there and the final camera just ended the level... And that was the end of my first level - TR Celtic.
