Tomb Raider 1

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 1. It cannot be used together with the Glidos emulator or any graphics patch. It is for the basic version of the game intended for MS-DOS, Win95 and Win98. More installation information is in the included Readme file.

Tomb Raider 2

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 2. Unfortunately, its installation is not as simple as with TR-1, but it is not unsolvable. The whole installation procedure is described in the included Readme file.

Tomb Raider 2: Golden Mask

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 2: Golden Mask. This version of the game can be found freely downloadable on the internet, and this Czech translation can also be installed into it. Again, a detailed installation description is in the Readme file.

Tomb Raider 3

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 3. Installing it can cause considerable trouble, especially if you run the game on Windows XP. Even here the difficulties can be overcome, so you can enjoy the game in Czech. The installation description is in the Readme file.

Tomb Raider 4

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 4. Because installing and using this translation is also somewhat problematic, a special executable file must be used. However, as it turned out, background music may then stop playing. That is the price for the Czech translation. This problem does not necessarily appear every time, but other problems may also occur. The installation procedure is again in the Readme file.

Tomb Raider 4: TRLE

This Czech translation is intended for the playable part of the TRLE editor. That means it cannot be used in the official TR-4 game, only in the playable part of the editor released together with TR-5. And to make it a little more complicated, it is a translation for the original version of the TRLE editor. It cannot be used for the updated version that contains several additional levels. Those who create levels in the TRLE editor surely know what this means. The installation instructions are again in the Readme file.

Tomb Raider 4: TRLE TXT

This Czech translation is intended exclusively for custom level authors. It has no meaning for players, because it would not work in the game by itself. To work correctly, it must be edited and finally compiled in the TRLE editor.

Tomb Raider 6

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 6. I am not sure about compatibility between different versions of this game and this Czech translation. You will probably have to try it. During installation, follow the instructions of the installer.

Tomb Raider 7

This Czech translation is intended for the full version of Tomb Raider 7. It can be used with game versions 1.0 and 1.1. It reportedly cannot be used with version 1.2.

If you did not find a Czech translation here for your Tomb Raider game (TR 3: Gold, TR-5), it is because getting those translations running would be too complicated for the end user, not because such a translation could not be made. If a simpler way appears, the relevant Czech translation will certainly be created.
